About

I am a Professional Counselor Associate and I specialize in working with adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, parenting challenges, and transitions that come with aging. I have a special interest in working with women who are dealing with fertility struggles or are experiencing a perinatal or postpartum mood and anxiety disorder (PMAD). I also work with couples to improve communication, make decisions about their relationship, address infidelity, or forge a deeper connection. I utilize a person-centered therapeutic approach to provide a supportive and warm relationship. Please see my Services page for more information on my therapeutic orientation and how I might be able to help you.

A little more about me – I grew up in San Diego and Bend, lived for many years in Seattle, and recently moved back to Bend. I graduated from the University of Washington in 2003 with my Bachelor’s degree in English literature. I have always been drawn to people’s stories and the many different ways we try to make sense of the world. 20 years after getting my undergraduate degree, I graduated from Antioch University Seattle with my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have experience working in clinical mental health agencies, volunteering for multiple crisis organizations, and now with working in private practice. When I am not engaged in personal and professional growth, I am likely reading, hiking, or spending time with my family.
